Our History
The Puerto Rican Community Center, Inc. (PRCC) was previously named Puerto Rican Community Day Care Center, Inc. It has been a pioneer in providing a bilingual (Spanish-English) and multicultural preschool experience to children and families. PRCC is the only nonprofit, bilingual, multicultural learning center in the city of Trenton. It was founded in 1975 as an important part of the Puerto Rican Association of Trenton.
The leaders of this organization were dedicated to the creation of a child-care center that served the Latino community. Currently, we have six classrooms, serving 90 children and their families. Today, Puerto Rican Community Center, Inc. is a strong organization with great community partnerships. The history of this center is a rich and exciting story that will continue to grow and flourish within the community to serve our mission.

Mission: PRCC strives to set the foundation for further academic success while inspiring a love of learning. The Center provides the highest quality early childhood education, and family services emphasizing learning, culture, self-esteem and a sense of community, all in a fully bilingual setting.

Monthly Meals Distribution !
PRCC & JFCS !
Puerto Rican Community Center partnered with Jewish Family and Children’s Services Mobile Food Pantry (JFCS) to offer nutritious food packages to our families every month. The JFCS Mobile Food Pantry delivers bags that include non-perishable items, as well as fresh fruit and vegetables.

Welcome to PRCC's Community Tech Space! We understand that not everyone has access to technology or feels comfortable using it. Our space is designed to help parents with document printing, typing letters, and completing online applications, making it easier for you to navigate the digital world. Come visit us and let us assist you in achieving your tech needs!
